In 2020 and 2021 SAMW shall serve as the gateway for Canadian music industry and artists who wish to access markets in South Africa and Southern African countries that make up the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).

SAMW aims to run a 10 to 20 venue festival with a performance programme divided into the following categories:

Trade expo

The Music Expo will run 1 x Day as part of the conference component of the programme. It will comprise at least 10 music-related service and product exhibitors who will pay for use of the space. Detailed Floor Plans, as well as space and pricing options, will be developed as soon as the conference venue is confirmed. The exhibition will include:

  • Snack and light meal vendors within a food court area with seated dining space.
  • Small Stage for ongoing performances
